Mental health is SUCH an important topic to me, especially in a world where the numbers of those personally impacted only seem to be rising. While being outdoors & getting to see beautiful places is certainly therapeutic to me, these moments and places cannot replace true therapy. They are temporary escapes that don’t combat the real issue. The absolute last thing you want to worry about when trying to get the help you need is worrying if it will be covered by your insurance company, for how long (I’ve been there! 🙋🏼‍♀️) It is so crucial for clear standards to be created that specifically state what is supposed to be covered by health insurance companies.
