Student Mental Health Advocate

As a mom of 4 daughters, I worry in today’s climate, Are They Ok? With pressures from school, sports, social media, and friends, How Are They Really Doing? I love our morning car rides to schools… no phones or electronics… we turn the radio down and just talk! We talk about what’s going on in and out of school? What’s on tap for the day and the week? What are they looking forward to? And what’s worrying them? Then I send them into their school with confidence knowing the school (teachers and staff) has their back too.

It’s so important for our children that our schools check in on all students and take their mental health seriously. All Schools should offer support, programs, and counseling for every student. Even if they seem “Ok”… talk to them, support them, and make sure They Are Really OK?
