The Win Workshop is a master class in running effective, high-impact advocacy campaigns. Inseparable unveiled the program at our 2024 Building Hope Summit and then in 2025, brought together 22 advocates from across the mental health movement – young leaders to experienced veterans – to equip them with the tools, skills, and strategies they need to drive meaningful change in their communities and states.

The Win Workshop is a master class in running effective, high-impact advocacy campaigns. Built around a proven strategic campaign framework, the curriculum is designed to take participants deep into each element of a winning campaign—equipping partners with the tools, skills, and strategies they need to drive meaningful change in their states and communities. Featuring seven expert-led classes and a companion guide that captures key lessons and strategies from each session, the resource equips advocates with practical tools, skills, and campaign-style approaches to drive meaningful change and move the field forward.
Sessions
Session 1: Introduction to Strategic Campaign Management

In this first Win Workshop session, Inseparable founder Bill Smith shares why winning mental health campaigns isn’t just a goal — it’s a responsibility. Learn how strategic campaign management is building a nationwide movement to make mental healthcare easy to get and easy to afford.

Session 4: Messaging and Storytelling

The right message can open doors that no amount of data alone ever will. In this Win Workshop session, communications strategist Oren Shur breaks down how to craft stories and messages that meet people where they are and move them to take action for mental health.
Session 5: Policymaker Engagement

Winning takes more than good ideas. It takes power. In this Win Workshop session, End Citizens United president Tiffany Muller shares how to build political power from the ground up, what to do when you lose, and how to position your movement to win when the moment is right.Session 8: Creating a Winning Mental Health Movement
Nine months of training comes down to one truth: when advocates know how to win, lives get better. In this final Win Workshop session, participants reflect on what they learned, and Bill Smith closes with a message of urgent hope and 40 new mental health wins to prove it.
